Our office telephone is up and ringing :) 938.4106

I failed to mention that we could probably use a long distance service or calling card, but long distance services are rather expensive for our current needs. Costco calling card is only an initial $20 at 2.99 cents a minute, and the card could live by the phone. I could pick one up if this seems like a good idea. - Rachael Hand

Hello,
I have a costco calling card, and it really is one of the cheapest. It is also renewable by credit card.

Todd changed our Internet settings so that that the computer will automatically discount from the Internet after 10 minutes of unuse. that should dramatically reduce the minutes used and make the phone more available for in coming calls.

I also support the current structure. In 3 - 6 months, we can revisit the phone bill and determine which plan would be the most cost effective depending on our average usage. I also support obtaining a long distance calling card from Costco. If approved, using petty cash would probably be the easiest, Rachael. Thanks!

I support current fees until use dictates more.

Phone bill stuff. Did I mention in the last phone bill email that I canceled call waiting at $3.89 a month? We don't seem to need it right now. Let's wait until the phone is ringing off the hook, okay? I called SBC to see what our newest local billing is (bill is being mailed out tomorrow). We used 2000 minutes totaling $17.28--this includes modem use. We can buy an unlimited block of minutes for $23.99 a month, but does everyone agree that we should wait until our usage increases? Hard to say what average use will be in these first months. This charge is on top of our standard monthly charge of $12.79 mo. Okay, here's to conscientious telephone and computer usage. By the way, Todd set the computer up to disconnect after 10 minutes of down time when we're online. Office is looking great. Thanks to everyone.

We need internet connection at the office. It's key to communications. What did we determine the cost would be?

Audra and I played around with it and we truly can't even see a switch or button or anything at all to even experiment with. So, if no ideas turn up soon, just know this is on my list for attention as soon as possible.

The ringer on the phone is not working or setup incorrectly.

I had no luck trying to call local cell phones from the office. I could never make a connection.
you might try calling 1 and the the area code (typically) 530 before the local cell phone number.
